What to Expect

Pre-Treatment

Note that VI Peels® will leave an orange tint on the skin for 4 hours following your appointment.

Pre-Treatment

For sensitive skin types, avoid retinol for one week prior to treatment.

Post-Treatment

After the treatment, your skin will appear orange/brown. You will cleanse the chemical residue four hours after treatment. Your provider will review a detailed post care treatment schedule with you.

What should I expect immediately after the treatment?

Be aware that VI Peels will leave an orange tint on the skin for 4 hours following your appointment, and you may experience one week of peeling and darkened hyperpigmentation.

What results can I expect from the treatment?

After your treatment, you will notice brighter skin, decreased hyperpigmentation, clearer skin, and smoother skin texture.

When should I come back for my next treatment?

In order to achieve optimal results, we typically suggest 3-6 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart. Your provider will recommend a custom treatment plan.

Is this treatment pregnancy safe?

No, VI Peels are not considered safe during pregnancy.

Does it hurt?

Most people report minimal to no discomfort with moderate peels.
