Note that VI Peels® will leave an orange tint on the skin for 4 hours following your appointment.

Pre-Treatment

Avoid strenuous exercise, ibuprofen, aspirin or alcohol for 24 hours as this might increase your risk of bruising.

Pre-Treatment

For sensitive skin types, avoid retinol for one week prior to treatment.

Post-Treatment

Avoid strenuous exercise and massaging the area, ibuprofen, aspirin or alcohol for 24 hours as this might increase your risk of bruising.

Pre-Treatment

It is safe to apply skin care and/or make up after treatment.

Post-Treatment

Avoid laying face down for 4 hours following treatment.

Post-Treatment

Bruising and swelling can occur, but will typically subside after a few days. You may apply arnica to help alleviate the bruising.

Post-Treatment

After the treatment, your skin will appear orange/brown. You will cleanse the chemical residue four hours after treatment. Your provider will review a detailed post care treatment schedule with you.
