For sensitive skin types, avoid retinol for several days prior to treatment.

Post-Treatment

Post-treatment skincare is dependent on type of peel and will be reviewed with your provider. In general, you can expect anything from flaking to heavy peeling starting Day 3-7. Do not peel, pick, shave, scratch, or exfoliate the skin. If necessary, you may trim loose pieces of skin with a small clean scissors.

Post-Treatment

The peel may bring underlying breakouts to the surface of the skin in the days following treatment.

Dark spots may temporarily darken during the peeling process.

Keep your skincare routine simple for one week following your peel, using only a simple cleanser, moisturizer and SPF. Do not exfoliate or use any active products (retinols, AHA/BHA) for at least one week after your treatment.

Post-Treatment

Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks following your peel. Apply a mineral based sunscreen every day after your treatment. You may apply makeup immediately after your treatment.
