What to Expect

Pre-Treatment

Sensitive skin types may wish to hold off on exfoliating skincare or retinol the night before and morning of treatment.

Post-Treatment

You will experience a mild pink/rosy complexion to the skin immediately after the treatment which will last between 30 min-2 hours. Avoid exercise, wearing makeup, touching your face, and sun exposure for 12 hours after your treatment. Your provider will share post-treatment skincare recommendations.

Post-Treatment

You may experience a residue on your face a few hours after the Aquagold treatment. You may cleanse this residue with a lukewarm soaked gauze or towel.

What should I expect immediately after the treatment?
No downtime, however mild flushing and flaking may occur in the several hours following treatment. You may wipe the flaking off as needed with a clean, damp cloth.

What results can I expect from the treatment?
You can expect a decrease in pore size, brighter skin, improved redness, improved hyperpigmentation, and an overall glow. The treatment is also sun-safe. 

When should I come back for my next treatment?
Every 4-6 weeks.

Is this treatment pregnancy safe?

No, Aquagold is not recommended during pregnancy.

Does it hurt?
Most people report the treatment feels like small pricks with very little discomfort.
